Up Next, the 2014 State Summer Games!

Congratulations to all the athletes that participated at the 2014 Area 5 Summer Games on Saturday, April 5th. What a great day of sports competition! The next big event is the 2014 State Summer Games at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports facility in Kissimmee, Florida, May 16-18th. We’ll be selecting the Duval County 2014 State Summer Games athletes within the next few weeks. Athletes who participated and finished 1st their sport (Track & Field, Bocce, Soccer and Tennis) will be entered into a lottery once we have our quota from the State Office. Coaches will be contacted once we have our delegation in place.

Publix Torch Campaign Raises Both Awareness & Funds

We’d like to thank all the athletes from the Duval County Publix region that represented Special Olympics throughout the campaign! Duval County athlete Megan Bell’s face has been plastered all over Publix stores during the month of January and we couldn’t be more proud of her! Check out her appearance on WJXT’s Morning Show from Tuesday, January 21st.

How to Donate Directly to Duval

Our program is made possible through the generosity of individuals, civic clubs, businesses and corporations both local and across the nation. Our athletes participate in our program at no cost; therefore, without volunteers and donations, the program would not exist.

We accept donations in the form of checks and money orders; or items such as water, food, transportation, office supplies, and shoes for our athletes.

If you would like to make a donation, please either contact us at (904)307-4221 or mail it to:
