First Leg:  The run will take place Monday March 25 beginning in Century staging at the Food Giant, 9511 North Century Boulevard at the Florida/Alabama state line on (HWY 29) at 7AM . The run will start at 7:15. We will run south for approximately 1.6 miles to the Century City Hall at 7995 North Century Boulevard (HWY 29).

Second Leg:  Begin staging at 8:40AM at Escambia County Sheriff’s Department 1700 W Leonard St Pensacola. The run will start at 9am. Running from Leonard Street to Palafox we will run past FDLE, 1301 N Palafox St Pensacola and pick up any staff from there that want to join us and make our way on to Pensacola PD, 711 N Hayne St where we will pick any more runners who want to join up. We will pause here for a water break . The run will continue on to Alcanize to our ending point at Bartram Park  211 W. Main Street. The approximate mileage for this leg is about 3.4 miles. Sheriff Morgan and Chief Simmons will address the runners.

Law enforcement officers along with other participants should plan to gather in the parking lot of Woody’s Barbeque 99 Flagler Plaza Drive Palm Coast, FL 32164, promptly at 9:30 a.m., for registration and a safety briefing.  The 4.4 mile run escorted by the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office will begin at 10:30 a.m. and will start from the parking lot of Woody’s Barbeque.  Runners will carry the torch north bound on Old Kings Road to Town Center Blvd.  The runners will continue on Town Center Blvd. to S. R. 100 where they will travel east on S. R. 100 and end in the parking lot of Woody’s Barbeque.  Lunch will be served at the conclusion of the run.  View event flyer.

We will travel East on U.S. 90 then at the Jefferson County Court House we will make a right  onto U.S. 19 going south. The finish line will be the parking lot of Advance Auto Parts Store (1321 S. Jefferson St. Monticello Fl 32344). The distance is approximately 2.5 miles.

We will assemble at the Lafayette County Courthouse in Mayo at 9:00 AM.  The run should start at 9:30 AM.  The route will be North on SR 51 from the Courthouse to the Hal W Adams bridge. This is approximately two miles.

Begin assembling at Publix at Citrus Tower (230 Citrus Tower Blvd) at 9:30.  The run will start at 10:00am, travel south on Citrus Tower Blvd, and end at the Special Olympics FL Headquarters (1915 Don Wickham Drive).  Total distance is 2.1 miles.  There will be shuttles available to get you back to your car.  There will be a cookout afterward for the participants and athletes.

Notes: The Torch Run starts at the St. Petersburg Police Department and finishes at Paul B. Stephens Exceptional School. Host agencies are assigned to each relay point, and should make arrangements to provide traffic security and water along their portion of the route. Participants may join in anywhere along the way. Relay times are approximate. Because this is not a race, a 12 minute mile pace is encouraged so as many runners can participate as possible. Persons riding bikes or skating should have proper safety equipment as this event takes place along major public roads.  Please no child passengers either on bicycles or in tow.

Begin assembling at 3:30. Run starts at 4:00pm at the Sheriff’s Office (4015 Lewis Speedway) to US-1 South to San Marco Ave, San Marco Ave South to the Castillo de San Marco. This is a 5K run.

St. Lucie

April 12

The run will begin at the PSLPD HQ/ Municipal Complex at 5 PM.  The route will proceed EB onto SE Port St Lucie Blvd, turn NB onto Veteran’s Memorial Pkwy.  It will proceed NB and cross US1 onto Walton Road into the second Publix store parking lot where the run will terminate.  The entire route is only 3.9 miles

Registration will begin at 8AM.  The run start time is 9AM. Run will be a two mile run leaving Suwannee High School traveling west on Pinewood Way to Walker Street, north on Walker to 11^th Street, east on 11^th Street, and then south on Pine Avenue ending back at Suwannee High School.

Riverside Drive .2 miles to Canal Street.  West on Canal Street .3 miles to US 1 (Dixie Freeway).  South on Dixie Freeway 1.6 miles to 10^th Street, Edgewater (assemble in vacant parking area on right just past 10^th Street)  about 10:50 AM [short rest stop/water break]

11:05 AM  Depart 10^th Street, south on US 1 (Ridgewood Ave.) 1.8 miles to Turgot Ave., Hawks Park, Edgewater (west on Turgot into the park, site of the Finale).

We will begin to gather at 0800 hours at Frank’s Corner, 929 U.S. Highway 90 West, Defuniak Springs, FL 32433.  This location is directly across the street from Northwest Florida State College.  After a short photo session (at approximately 0830 hours), we will run east on U.S. Highway 90 for approximately 1.5 miles and end on the front lawn of the Walton County Courthouse.  The pace will be slow to moderate so that we can all stay together.  If a runner is unable to keep pace, we will have a transport vehicle in back so that a runner can ride the rest of the way or simply take a break.  Please remember to wear your SOFL LETR shirt.
