Did You Know

  • Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and competition to children and adults 8 years of age and older with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Our athletes are also invited to participate in Athlete Leadership and Healthy Athletes programs.
  • We currently offer 17 sports.
  • We serve 1,559 athletes throughout Pasco County.
  • 240 people from our community give their time to volunteer each year.

Get Involved

  • Volunteers needed at our Swimming Competition on July 15 at the New Port Richey Aquatics Center 5:00-7:30 pm.  Register online.
  • All athletes/parents that are interested in our upcoming powerlifting program.  Please attend our information meeting on July 11 at Cotee Elementary at 5:30 pm.  Register online.

Donate to Special Olympics Florida – Pasco County

Our program is made possible through the generosity of local individuals, civic clubs, businesses and corporations. Our athletes participate in our program at no cost; therefore, without volunteers and donations, the program would not exist.

We accept donations in the form of cash or checks or items such as water, food, transportation, office supplies, and equipment, uniforms or shoes for our athletes.
