Equestrian

Equestrian application is now open for athletes and volunteers! Please read all of the information below before completing the application questionnaire.

Athlete Information

Please be advised that completing this application is only the first step in indicating interest in joining the Polk Special Olympics Equestrian Team (Polk SOET).  There is a process of matching an athlete to an appropriate horse and also matching an athlete with an available coaching team. Due to the limited number of horses and coaching teams, a waiting list may need to be developed. We will let you know if we can make a match for you, or if you are on a waiting list.

* Due to our horses limitations, we will not be able to accommodate athletes under the age of 12 or over 220 lbs.
