Black History Month Athlete Spotlight – Ordray

Ordray is a Tampa native who shines on and off the soccer field. He started participating in Special Olympics Florida soccer when he was a freshman at Land O Lakes High School. His team was selected to compete in the 2015 Special Olympics World Games and brought home the Bronze Medal.

Ordray was also part of the MLS Works/Special Olympics Unified Sports All-Star Soccer Match where he played a Unified exhibition match following an Orlando City Soccer Club in Chicago.

Before Special Olympics Florida, he was shy and did not have many friends. Now he loves to meet new people and has many supportive friends. He also competes in his high school’s varsity football and track programs, where he made it to the regional finals. Ordray also loves anime and drawing and works at Publix.
