State Summer Games – May 20-21 – ESPN Wide World of Sports

Everybody get their sunscreen out and ready to go!
Here are the start dates for SOVC summer sports…

Golf starts Tuesday, May 3rd from 3:30-5:30 at the Daytona Beach Golf Club, 600 Wilder Blvd., Daytona Beach

Stand Up Paddle Board (2 locations) starts Saturday, May 7th from 9:00-10:30 on City Island near the Library and Pavilion, Daytona Beach & at Maynard-May Park, S Riverside Dr & E Ocean Ave, Edgewater – also from 9:00-10:30

Surfing starts Saturday, May 28th from 11-12:30pm at Frank Rendon Park, Daytona Beach Shores

Westside will practice at the Deltona YMCA starting Wednesday, June 8th from 7-8pm with a Parent/Athlete information meeting and Saturdays from 9-10:30am

Eastside will start Tuesday, May 24th at 6pm with a Parent/Athlete information meeting at our new location: Cypress Aquatic Center, 981 George Engram Blvd., Daytona Beach

Palmer College of Chiropractic offers FREE medicals to all Volusia County and Flagler County Special Olympics Athletes and FREE Chiropractic treatments to all athletes and their families. If athlete has Medicare or Medicaid, this must be applied prior to any service. Learn more.


How to Donate Directly to Volusia County

Our program is made possible through the generosity of individuals, civic clubs, businesses and corporations both local and across the nation. Our athletes participate in our program at no cost; therefore, without volunteers and donations, the program would not exist.  We accept donations in the form of cash or checks; or items such as water, food, transportation, office supplies, and equipment or shoes for our athletes.
