    • Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and competition to children and adults 8 years of age and older with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
    • Our athletes are also invited to participate in Athlete Leadership and Healthy Athletes programs.
    • We currently offer 12 sports
    • We serve 514 athletes throughout Brevard County.
    • 132 people from our community give their time to volunteer each year.

It is our honor  to serve our community and those within it. Currently, we serve over five hundred athletes in our community, though there are many more members of our community with whom could benefit from our services.

Our program is made possible through the generosity of local individuals, civic clubs, businesses and corporations. Our athletes participate in our program at no cost; therefore, without volunteers and donations, the program would not exist.

We accept donations in the form of cash or checks; or items such as water, food, transportation, office supplies, and equipment or shoes for our athletes.
