About the Invitational
The Invitational is one of the premier golf fundraising events in the world bringing together Disney cast members and corporate citizens to make a huge impact in the lives of our athletes. Over the past 6 years, the Invitational has generated net revenue of more than $2.5M transforming Special Olympics Florida by allowing us to add services and reach many more athletes.
About Disney’s Palm and Disney’s Magnolia Golf Courses
What better place to develop and build business relationships than on the golf course. Two of the finest courses in the state of Florida are at Disney World® Resort.
This 18-hole championship course features shimmering lakes, tropical sands, palm trees and sloping greens. Disney’s Palm Golf Course is rated 4 stars by Golf Digest and includes 9 holes with water hazards and 59 bunkers—providing plenty of challenges for novices and seasoned pros alike.
Certified by Audubon International as a Cooperative Wildlife Sanctuary and rated 4 stars by Golf Digest, Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course represents a paradise for serious golfers, as well as a thrilling challenge for players at all levels.
The Invitational is played as a scramble. Sponsors and Cast Members compete together for incredible prizes, honor and glory on PGA Tour quality golf courses. Due to demand, the Invitational will host a morning shotgun and an afternoon shotgun.
Thursday, May 3rd, immediately following afternoon golf at Shades of Green® on Walt Disney World® Resort (located at the golf courses).
The Awards Banquet is a buffet dinner where golfers from the morning and afternoon shotguns can celebrate their golfing adventure. Raffle drawings, prizes and trophies will be awarded.
