    • Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and competition to children and adults 8 years of age and older with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
    • Our athletes are also invited to participate in Athlete Leadership and Healthy Athletes programs.
    • We currently offer 17 sports.
    • We serve 2,930 athletes throughout Orange County.
    • 401 people from our community give their time to volunteer/coach each year.

Lakeview Unified Flag Football teams bring home the bling!

Congratulations to the Lakeview Unified Sports Flag Football teams. They brought home a Gold medal in the Juniors 4 division and a Silver medal in the Juniors 3 division at the State finals held at Disney’s Wide World of Sports.

Our program is made possible through the generosity of local individuals, civic clubs, businesses and corporations. Our athletes participate in our program at no cost; therefore, without volunteers and donations, the program would not exist.

We accept donations in the form of cash or checks or items such as water, food, transportation, office supplies, and equipment, uniforms or shoes for our athletes.
