Did You Know

  • Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and competition to children and adults 8 years of age and older with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Our athletes are also invited to participate in Athlete Leadership and Healthy Athletes programs.
  • We currently offer 17 sports.
  • We serve 1,559 athletes throughout Pasco County.
  • 240 people from our community give their time to volunteer each year.

  • Volunteer for the 2018 Pasco County 5K Run/Walk  on March 17th.
  • Summer Games have begun!  We hope to see you at the County Games on February 22nd at River Ridge High School & Feb. 23rd at Wesley Chapel High School.

Our program is made possible through the generosity of local individuals, civic clubs, businesses and corporations. Our athletes participate in our program at no cost; therefore, without volunteers and donations, the program would not exist.

We accept donations in the form of cash or checks or items such as water, food, transportation, office supplies, and equipment, uniforms or shoes for our athletes.
