Virtual Programs and Resources

While training and competition is currently suspended, we are proud to be offering virtual programs and resources to help us all stay active and healthy.

  • School of Strength: Unified Fitness Kit Workout - Special Olympics and WWE athletes collaborated to create a full body workout using a variety of equipment.
  • Jr. NBA Special Olympics Day Clinic, a free 45-minute virtual session to our athletes and coaches on Zoom.  Every third Thursday of each month from 1:00-1:45 p.m. ET.  You must also sign-up in OWQLO. The OWQLO app can be downloaded on the App store on Apple or Google Play on Android devices.
  • Home Fitness - a nine-week training workout program designed for athletes and partners who want to build a good foundation of strength, cardio and overall fitness. Contact us to learn more.
  • Couch to 5k - a nine-week training program that transitions between walking/running with increasing distances and running intervals as the weeks progress, designed for athletes and partners who are interested in being able to complete a 5k race by the end of the program.  Participants can use the free MoveSpring app to track their progress.   Contact us to learn more.
  • Virtual Miles - a nine-week program with weekly tallies of miles run, walked, biked or rolled, designed for athletes of all ability levels.  Participants can use the free MoveSpring app to track their progress. Contact us to learn more.
  • Health and Fitness Webinar Series – the first Tuesday of each month, from 12:15 – 12:30 p.m.
  • Strong Minds Family Resource - providing families with activities that they can do together to focus on their emotional health.
  • Fit and Well Facebook Group – ongoing participation, activities, and challenges
  • Virtual Health Screenings to address athlete’s health and well-being, emotional wellness, and dental health…and can be completed over the phone
  • Special Olympics Champions Playlist on Pandora, created by Special Olympics athletes and Unified partners to inspire listeners of all abilities to bring out their inner champion.
  • Emotional Wellness Group Sessions, Thursdays, 3:30-4:00 p.m. ET.  Connect with fellow athletes and families to discuss feelings and emotions we are experiencing.
