  • Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and competition to children and adults 8 years of age and older with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Our athletes are also invited to participate in Athlete Leadership and Healthy Athletes programs.
  • We currently offer 16 sports.
  • We serve 1,645 athletes throughout Volusia County.
  • Over 328 volunteers give of their time to support our program.

Palmer College of Chiropractic offers FREE medicals to athletes and FREE Chiropractic treatments to all athletes and their families. If athlete has Medicare or Medicaid, this must be applied prior to any service. Learn more.


Donate to Special Olympics Florida – Volusia County

Our program is made possible through the generosity of local individuals, civic clubs, businesses and corporations. Our athletes participate in our program at no cost; therefore, without volunteers and donations, the program would not exist.

We accept donations in the form of cash or checks; or items such as water, food, transportation, office supplies, and equipment or shoes for our athletes.
