Did You Know

  • Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and competition to children and adults 8 years of age and older with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Our athletes are also invited to participate in Athlete Leadership and  Healthy Athletes programs.
  • We currently offer 7 sports.
  • We serve 151 athletes throughout Monroe County.
  • Currently 69 people from our community give their time to volunteer each year.

Announcements

 

  • Unified Flag Football is back on schedule! The FKCC Goonies and Key Largo School Tornadoes are heading to the Fall Classic Nov. 8-12.
  • Bowling practices are suspended as the Bowling Alley is not open.We have been invited to Area 11 Games on Nov. 19. Atheltes will be notified by Pat Hart. 

Donate to Special Olympics Florida – Monroe County

Our program is made possible through the generosity of local individuals, civic clubs, businesses and corporations. Our athletes participate in our program at no cost; therefore, without volunteers and donations, the program would not exist.

We accept donations in the form of cash or checks or items such as water, food, transportation, office supplies, and equipment, uniforms or shoes for our athletes.
