Special Olympics Florida Athlete Reports Again from the Super Bowl

Special Olympics Florida athlete Malcom Harris-Gowdie is heading back to the Super Bowl, and, for the first time ever, he’ll be reporting from inside the stadium during the game.

Malcom, an aspiring sportscaster, is partnering with the sports and entertainment network FanSided to cover the Big Game. He’s worked with FanSided at two previous Super Bowls, but this is the first time he’ll be in the stadium. During his earlier trips to the Super Bowl, he worked on Media Row, reporting on the events and activities taking place before and after the game.

FanSided surprised Malcom with the news earlier this month. You can watch a video of that call here.

An Athlete Leader from St. Lucie County, Malcom will spend several days in New Orleans reporting alongside the FanSided hosts. On game day, he’ll be a credentialed reporter watching the game from the press box. You can read more about Malcom’s trip here.
