Every Family is Special

A huge thanks to our partners at Holiday Inn Club Vacations for once again treating a Special Olympics Florida family to a complimentary stay at Orange Lake Resort in Orlando.  

As part of the “Every Family is Special” campaign, Malea Pandes, a golfer from Navarre, enjoyed a three-night stay at Orange Lake Resort with her mother, Malika Godwin. Malea also received a one-on-one golf clinic with John Brown, Director of Instruction at the Orange Lake Resort McCord-Brown Golf Academy. Malea is scheduled to compete in our State Golf Competition on December 8 and 9.

This is the third time Holiday Inn Club Vacations has treated an athlete to a stay and clinic as part of the “Every Family is Special” campaign. The initiative celebrates the diversity of the families served by Special Olympics Florida and aims to raise awareness of the challenges and joys of raising a child with different abilities. Holiday Inn Club Vacations is a proud partner of the campaign.
