Pasco Athlete Runs Boston Marathon
Special Olympics Florida athlete Marlynne Stutzman has joined the ranks of elite runners.
On April 17, Marlynne, a Pasco County athlete, ran the world-famous Boston Marathon, completing the race in 4 hours and 25 minutes. Her story was featured on FOX13 Tampa Bay.
“I am super excited,” Marlynne told the station. “It’s like a dream come true.”
Marlynne has been part of Special Olympics Florida for several years. She’s also an accomplished swimmer and triathlete, who, next month, will travel to Slovakia to represent Special Olympics Florida in an international triathlon.
