Race for Inclusion – Miami
Our final Race for Inclusion event of the year – Race for Inclusion – Miami – is in the books!
The 5K took place on Wednesday, December 6, with more than 300 runners and walkers coming out Bayfront Park in Miami to raise over $165,000 to support Special Olympics Florida athletes. We are so grateful to everyone who took part and to the incredible partners who made the evening possible!
Last week, Special Olympics Florida athlete Henry Reyes and Special Olympics Florida Coach Jillian Gustin appeared on WTVJ in Miami to promote the race. Henry and Jillian did a terrific job talking about the purpose of the Race for Inclusion campaign and why the Special Olympics movement is so important. You can watch Henry and Jillian here.
