SONA Golf Championship

Congratulations to the Special Olympics Florida golfers who turned in award-winning performances at the 2023 Special Olympics North America Golf Championship.

The team of Charlie Crose and Chad Eskew took home a second-place finish. Crose, a Special Olympics Florida athlete, and Eskew, a Unified partner, are a Unified pair from Pasco County.

Special Olympics Florida Hall of Famer Lindsay Fulop, meanwhile, added to her long list of awards, capturing third place in individual play. Fulop is from Palm Beach County.

Nearly 200 athletes and Unified partners from throughout the United States and Canada competed this year. The event took place from October 2 through October 5 in Galloway, New Jersey. Learn more and check out photos from the events here.
