Special Olympics Florida Golf Open
What a great day of golf at the Special Olympics Florida Golf Open last week! Foursomes fanned out across the Miller Course at the spectacular JW Marriott Turnberry Resort & Spa in South Florida.
The two-day event featured a VIP Reception and Co-Chairs Reception on
Wednesday evening, followed by 18 holes of golf on Thursday. Golfers helped raise $100,000 to support Special Olympics Florida athletes, some of whom were part of the celebration. For example, athletes Lindsay Fulop and Jonathan Doring, offered lessons on the putting green, and athlete David Mallis spoke to the guests at the evening reception. All three are accomplished golfers themselves.
A huge thanks to Title Sponsor DeCurtis Corporation and Presenting Sponsor Veritiv Corporation. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, sponsors, and partners, the Golf Open has become one of the premier fundraising events in South Florida.
