Together We Celebrate

As part of our 50th Anniversary celebration, Special Olympics Florida recently hosted a kick-off event at our headquarters in Clermont.

We presented Healthy Athletes Clinical Director Paula Schad with the Nancy Sawyer Award and Special Olympics athlete Samantha Rodriguez and Knights of Columbus volunteer Pete Chiaravalle with Hometown Hero Awards.

Special guests for the event included legendary college football analyst Lee Corso and two-time World Series champion Johnny Damon.  View event photos.
