Special Olympics Florida Athlete Honored by the NFL

Tyler Boyd
Special Olympics Florida athlete Tyler Boyd is headed to the 2025 Pro Bowl Games after being named an “NFL PLAY 60 Super Kid.” The honor is part of the NFL’s youth, health, and wellness initiative that encourages young people to be active for at least 60 minutes a day.

Tyler learned the news from Kenny Moore, a cornerback with the Indianapolis Colts and Tyler’s favorite player. Tyler’s school – West Orange High School in Orange County – celebrated with a mini pep rally that saw Tyler’s Unified flag football teammates carrying him on their shoulders.

Tyler was also featured in a Good Morning America segment announcing this year’s Super Kids. You can watch that piece here

As a Super Kid, Tyler will take part in the Pro Bowl Games community events and behind-the-scenes opportunities. At the Pro Bowl Games on February 2, he’ll be recognized on the field at Camping World Stadium. Way to go, Tyler!
