Standing for Inclusion at Komodo Miami

As part of the 2024 Race for Inclusion campaign – and to promote the Race for Inclusion – Miami – Special Olympics Florida recently hosted a “Sponsor Social” at Komodo Miami in South Florida. The event brought together Special Olympics Florida supporters for a celebration of inclusion and acceptance.

The evening recognized the generosity of some of our most committed sponsors, including Publix Super Markets, Accenture, Baptist Health South Florida, Thoma Bravo, TD Bank, and Kidz Medical. They are helping to make the Race for Inclusion – Miami possible. The 5K run/walk takes place on December 14, at Bayfront Park. You can sign up for the event at RaceforInclusion.org.

The Race for Inclusion – Miami is part of our broader Race for Inclusion initiative, a statewide campaign and fundraiser promoting inclusion and opportunity for people with intellectual disabilities. The 2024 Race for Inclusion campaign features eight events across the state.

The Sponsor Social at Komodo Miami featured a special honor for the Daniel Berdakin & Susana Alberti Family Foundation. The Foundation was recognized for its tireless commitment to advancing inclusion and for its support of Special Olympics Florida.
