Swim for Inclusion 2023

Swimmers from across the state turned out recently for the Swim for Inclusion at Lake Cane in Orlando. Participants had a perfect day for the 1,000-yard, open-water swim, with just enough cloud cover to hold down temperatures.

This is the third year for the Swim for Inclusion, which is part of Special Olympics Florida’s statewide Race for Inclusion campaign. Once again, it was hosted by Lucky Meisenheimer, a Central Florida dermatologist, longtime Special Olympics Florida supporter, and avid open-water swimmer.

This year’s Race for Inclusion features 10 events at locations all across Florida. There are five more to go, and there’s still time for you to sign up. Just visit RaceforInclusion.org to find a race and register today.
