The longest standing and most committed supporter since the inception of Special Olympics in 1968. Their members serve as fundraisers, mentors, Unified partners, and volunteers, with grand participation during our opening ceremonies statewide.

For over two decades, Lions Club International has provided 445,000 eye and vision screenings, as well as 260,000 corrective prescription and protective sports eyewear at no cost through the Special Olympics Healthy Athletes Opening Eyes initiative.
